Connections from EWR will be made from Didcot Parkway for onward destinations towards Bristol and South Wales, with Reading providing connections to the West Country and the South Coast.
West Coast Main Line
EWR will connect at Milton Keynes Central for services to Birmingham, North West England and Scotland.
Chiltern Main Line
EWR connects with Chiltern main line at Oxford, Bicester and Princes Risborough, enabling a wide choice of onward destinations such as Birmingham and Banbury.
Midland Main Line
Connection from EWR will be from Bedford for travel to East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
East Coast Main Line
Subject to the identification of a preferred and feasible route, the planned but longer term central section of EWR east of Bedford will also likely connect to the East Coast Main Line at Sandy.
